The Museum of Church History and Art displays the history of the Mormon religion through interactive exhibits and permanent collections. A display on the "Tabernacle on Temple Square" examines the architectural influences on the temple and displays photographs on the early construction and a recent renovation. The museum is located in the heart of downtown in Temple Square, near the Salt Lake Temple, the Salt Lake Tabernacle and other sites important to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
